As a recruiter, what is the most common thing candidates do in interviews that results in choosing to not move forward with employment?
It is hard to pick one thing, but if I had to name something, it would be not being prepared. This covers several things such as underestimating the time it takes to get there which results in arriving late, not doing research on the company, dressing inappropriately and the inability to connect with the interviewer. Interviewing is very subjective and it’s hard to pinpoint one thing.
Hope this helps!
