During a job interview when does confidence go over the line into arrogance?
When I am assessing a candidate, if they are not listening to me, tell me that they have received many offers and none of them have been good enough to accept and they have body language that says this position is below me that is arrogance. Confidence is being self-assured, polite, a good listener who asks well thought out questions and is humble if they do not know something.
Think of arrogance as being obnoxious and confident as holding their own in an interview and someone who comes prepared and well-mannered.
Hope this helps!
