Should I first resign and look for a job or get a job and then resign during career transition?

It’s always better to find a job while you are working. Make sure you are leaving for the right reason and not only for the money…money reasons only, leave you ripe for a counteroffer, depending on your position. Make a list of what you want in your next position and take your time to find it. You may be surprised that after interviewing with other companies, your current job is better! If you are very unhappy start putting your feelers out but do your homework on the types of companies and jobs you would really like and are qualified to do!
