What kind of skills does your organization look for when recruiting?
Technically speaking, software developers and architects, Project Managers, Business Analysts, Business Intelligence, Network Administrators and Security Engineers. The best resumes are those who have a history of showing advancement throughout their careers, a blend of education and certifications and written succinctly showing accomplishments. I like to see a summary of skills that the candidate has actually used and have current experience working with…I strongly suggest that you do not include technology that you are unfamiliar with but exposed to only and technology that is outdated and irrelevant. Only go back 10–12 years unless you are seeking an executive role and then I like to see the last 20 years and a more accomplishment focused resume.
